Alternative Wellness ("Alternative Wellness", "we", "us") provides wellness consulting and lifestyle education by video. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or use our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
02What we collect
What you give us
- Contact details: name, email address, mobile number and billing address.
- Wellness and lifestyle information: goals, habits and routines you choose to share in our forms, on-page tools or during sessions.
- Consent records: whether you opted in to text messages, the exact wording you agreed to, and the date, time, page and IP address of that consent.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS compliant processor. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
What's collected automatically
Standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the page that sent you here. The day sketch and the "hardest part of the day" cards run in your browser. What you chose reaches us only if you send the request form.

- To send appointment reminders, scheduling updates and account notices
- To send wellness tips and program offers, only if you opted in to those separately
- To process payments, refunds and billing questions
- To improve our website and services, and to meet legal obligations
05Text messages and your number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you opt in to texts from Alternative Wellness, we use your number only for what you agreed to:
- Appointment and account texts: reminders, scheduling and account updates. Message frequency varies.
- Tips and offers (a separate opt-in): wellness tips and program offers, up to 4 messages a month.
Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. You'll get one confirmation text and nothing after that unless you opt in again. You must be 18 or older to opt in, and consent is not a condition of purchase. Full details are in our SMS Terms.
06Keeping it safe
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and private video sessions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you about a breach where the law requires.
07How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it to provide our services and meet legal, tax and accounting rules. Then we securely delete or anonymize it. Consent records are kept as long as needed to show when and how you opted in.
08Your rights
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal and billing record rules
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any email, and from texts by replying STOP

10Children
Our services are for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
11Changes
We may update this policy. The new version will appear here with a new date at the top.
