01The agreement

These Terms cover your use of the Alternative Wellness website and our wellness consulting programs, sessions and materials (the "Services"). By using the site or buying Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and our SMS Terms.

02What this is not

Charlotte Ewals, DNP, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner, but she is not acting as your healthcare provider when she delivers the Services. She doesn't diagnose, order or review tests, treat conditions or prescribe in these sessions. Talk to your own licensed provider before changing your diet, exercise, supplements or health routine, and never delay medical care because of something you learned from us. 03Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and give us accurate information. Sessions are by video, and you must be physically located in North Dakota or Minnesota during each session. We confirm your location at the start of every call and may reschedule if you're elsewhere.

04What you get

What each option includes:

• The First Hour ($149): one 60-minute video session and a written wellness plan emailed within 48 hours after the session. No follow-ups or messaging.
• 90-Day Reset ($649): the first hour and written plan, six 30-minute follow-up video sessions about every two weeks, plan updates, and messaging for plan questions.
• Keep Going ($179 a month): two 30-minute check-in video sessions a month, a monthly plan update and messaging for plan questions. Available after the first hour or the Reset.

Messaging is for questions about your plan and is answered within one business day, Monday to Friday. It isn't for urgent or medical questions. The day sketch and checklist on our homepage are reflection tools only. Results depend on you and your circumstances, and we don't guarantee any specific outcome, including weight loss or changes in energy or sleep.

05Payments

• Prices are in U.S. dollars, shown on our website and confirmed before you pay.
• Nothing is charged when you send the request form. The First Hour is charged when your time is confirmed, the 90-Day Reset when you enroll, and Keep Going on your start date. All payments go through Stripe.
• By paying, you authorize us to charge your payment method the total shown.
• Keep Going renews automatically each month on the same date until you cancel. We email a receipt for every charge.
• If you paid for the First Hour and enroll in the 90-Day Reset within 14 days, the $149 is credited toward it.
• We're direct-pay and don't bill insurance. General wellness services often don't qualify for HSA or FSA payment; check with your plan administrator.

06Cancellations and refunds

The full rules are in our Refund Policy. The short version: reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund or a new time. If Charlotte decides during your first hour that this service can't help with your goals, she'll tell you before the session ends and refund your $149; this applies to the First Hour only. Keep Going can be cancelled any time and ends at the close of the month you paid for.

07Text messages

Program name: Alternative Wellness Text Alerts. If you opt in on our website form, we may send appointment and account texts (message frequency varies), and, only if you separately opt in, wellness tips and program offers (up to 4 per month). Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

08Your part

Be respectful with our team. Don't record sessions without written permission, share program materials, or use the Services for anything unlawful. We may end Services if these Terms are broken.

09Our materials

Our website content, plans, worksheets and videos belong to Alternative Wellness. You can use what we give you for your own wellness. You can't copy, resell or distribute it.

10Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Alternative Wellness isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

11Governing law

North Dakota law governs these Terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Grand Forks County, North Dakota. We may update these Terms, and changes take effect when posted here.
